CORPORATE OFFICE BUILDING

Pialé Building — Guatemala City

The Pialé Building rises in Guatemala City as a contemporary commercial landmark defined by structural clarity, material precision, and environmental intent. The 15-story tower is composed of exposed concrete, high-performance glass, and travertine, forming a modern façade that balances permanence with lightness while reducing solar gain in the tropical climate. Smart-building systems, a green roof, and ground-floor retail activate the street and contribute to long-term energy efficiency.

Functionally, the project addresses urban density and parking constraints with eight underground levels dedicated to parking and services, allowing the ground plane to remain pedestrian-oriented. Above, 15 levels of flexible office space provide adaptable floor plates for modern work environments. For Venustas Architects, Pialé represents a synthesis of technical rigor and architectural calm, where performance, material honesty, and urban responsibility converge.-
